Tarah Vosseler Speech and Language

A full Wix redesign for a pediatric speech and language therapy practice, spanning navigation optimization, FAQ development, logo recreation, and SEO, AEO, and GEO foundations, all delivered in two weeks. What started as a site that needed better flow grew into a considered digital presence built to serve both the visitor and the search engine, the kind of structured, collaborative process that shapes how I approach every website project today.

The Brand

Tarah Vosseler Speech and Language is a pediatric speech and language therapy practice built around helping children find their voice. A service based business that needed a digital presence as clear, considered, and accessible as the work she does with her young clients and their families every day.

The Brief

Tarah came to me with an existing Wix site that had good bones but needed a stronger foundation. The priorities were clear from the start: a website that worked beautifully across every device, SEO and GEO foundations that helped the right families find her, and a robust FAQ page built to answer the questions parents were already asking. She also wanted the overall flow and navigation to feel more intuitive so families could find what they needed without having to search for it.

The Approach

The project ran over two weeks with a structured review process built in at every stage so nothing moved forward without client alignment.

It started with two days of wireframing in Figma, mapping out the site structure, navigation flow, and page architecture before a single block was placed in Wix. A client review followed before anything was built, making sure the direction felt right before the real work began.

Screenshots of a website homepage, about page, services, how it works, FAQ, client stories, and blog sections, with images of food, a woman smiling, and text about pediatric speech and language therapy in Orange County.

From there the site was outlined block by block in Wix, with a second review to confirm the structure and flow before moving into refinement. Client feedback was incorporated before the design layer was applied, keeping the process clean and efficient. The FAQ page was developed in close collaboration with Tarah, building out questions and answers together to make sure the content reflected how parents and caregivers actually think and search when looking for pediatric speech and language support.

Once the structure and content were locked, design elements, graphics, and a recreated logo based on Tarah's original AI-generated concept were layered in. Alt text, SEO, AEO, and GEO foundations were built in throughout, and mobile optimization was completed as the final step before the last client review and launch.

What I Learned

Every project teaches you something worth building into the next one. This one reinforced the importance of a clearly communicated process from day one.

Sequencing matters more than speed. Design elements are most efficiently applied after structure and content are locked, not alongside them, because constant design adjustments during the build phase slow everything down. The same applies to mobile optimization, completing it as a final step rather than building it in parallel with the desktop view keeps the process cleaner and the feedback more focused.

None of this changes the quality of the outcome. It refines the path to get there. Every process evolves and this project made mine sharper. Now every client engagement starts with a clear, shared understanding of what gets delivered at each stage and in what order, so the work flows the way it should from the very first review.

The Outcome

A redesigned Wix website that flows the way a pediatric service based practice should. Clear navigation, a considered design, a FAQ page built to serve both the parent searching for answers and the search engine surfacing them, and SEO, AEO, and GEO foundations laid in from the start so the right families can find Tarah and know exactly what to do when they get there.
